The African Diaspora Foundation Sponsors Global Peace Leadership Summit
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 14, 2007 -- The African Diaspora Foundation (ADF), a non-profit organization, will sponsor a Global Peace Leadership Summit October 3 - 7, 2007 at the Los Angeles Hilton, California.
The goal of the Global Peace Leadership Summit is to engage global leaders in the development of peaceful innovative solutions to drive transformation in education, economic empowerment, and media representation throughout the African Diaspora. The summit will also serve as the official launch of a Peace Leadership Institute. It is the position of ADF that peace education has a place in all societies - not only in countries undergoing armed conflicts or emergencies.
This 3-day conference will bring together world leaders, peace icons, CEO's, activists, board members, managing directors, ministerial delegates, media, and community leaders from around the world in the following sectors: business, education, media, NGOs/not-for-profit, community development, and government. "We look forward to bringing together global leaders and dignitaries that are committed to empower individuals to choose peace instead of violence in building stable communities and progressive nations," states Agrippa Ezozo, Founder and President of ADF.
